Headed to the Argyle Executive CFO Forum in San Francisco

I’ve attended the CFO Forum in San Francisco the past several years.  It is a one-day event that provides a great opportunity to network with peers from across numerous industries, listen to informative presentations on current trends in the world of finance, and meet some new vendors who might be able to assist in driving bottom-line growth.

At the Ritz Carlton

The event is at the Ritz Carlton, atop a hill overlooking most of San Francisco.  The resort has an iconic entrance with its neoclassical style and columns.  However, I’m not as impressed with the Ritz Carlton name after staying there a few times, yet being more spoiled by the numerous other hotels and resorts my family stays as we travel the world.

Nevertheless, the property is still really elegant and a fine setting for the conference.

A word to the wise, if you’re going to walk to the Ritz Carlton from the BART station, be prepared for a fairly long trek up the famous (or is it infamous?) hills of the San Francisco while rolling your suitcase behind you.
